Entertainment Technology

Larry Dunn and his friend, Paul Kleissler, designed the first wireless DMX distribution system widely used on Broadway. With over 35 years of experience in entertainment technology from Broadway to casinos, TV and film, theme parks, and rock concerts, we know what it means when you say “the show must go on.”

LN2 CONTROLLER

LN2 CONTROLLER

Interesting Products needed a portable custom controller for a dramatic Liquid Nitrogen effect. It had to be rugged, reliable, affordable, and conservatively designed — and they needed it in 3 weeks. Working with the client remotely via phone and internet, we designed the circuit, assembled the parts, and built, tested, and shipped the unit in time for the show. We built the unit into a Hoffman NEMA4 enclosure so the unit can be closed up and protected or shipped between shows. The beautiful front and insert panels were fabricated by a local laser cutting house.

TERA-LUMEN

TERA-LUMEN

We were having dinner with a producer friend, when he complained about the dearth of DMX controllable LED Lighting alternatives for temporary film and video applications. Pamela said, “Why don’t we make something?" So we did. The Tera-Lumen system is a kit of color-mixing white LED strips that are DMX controlled, very bright, and provide smooth color mixing and dimming with flicker free on-camera performance. They are portable, re-useable and inexpensive, and can be built into fixtures or used as is. They pair nicely with standard camera batteries or work with available desktop switching power supplies.
